Recently I installed a rear deck lid spoiler on my 05 TL. The installation was very simple and relatively fast to complete. The trunk lid operates very well and I did not change the truck hinge spring. But now I'm wondering if the trunk lid would work better if I did change to the stronger spring. I have the new spring and I have purchased the "special tool" needed to change the spring. But I can't get the four clips out that hold the trunk flap in place over the springs. The directions state to push on the center of the clips and they will pop out. I'm not certain how hard you have to push but I am certain that I can't push any harder. Any ideas on how this is supposed to work? Thanks
