Default where to go?

okay, i have a 2000 Honda Accord and i recently got into mods and things like that. i was wondering, since i do not know a lot of people who can walk the walk (say they are car heads but when i bring them parts they don't know how to install it) and i'm clueless as to installing anything.

i'd take a carbon fiber hood to a body shop to get installed
i could take a muffler to Midas to get installed.
but, where would i take exhaust system, clywheel, clutch kit, pulley, springs, and coilover to be installed?
Goodyear?
i don't have many car shops that mess with engine, most of them are for stereos and rims at the best.

Either learn to do it yourself like I did with a service manual, this forum, and other online resources or take it to a high performance shop to have them do it. If you can find a high performance shop, their rates are dramatically higher than a normal mechanic, so I chose the first option and have saved myself thousands of dollars by doing it myself and learning at the same time.

You may be able to find a PDF format of the service manual for your car off the net like I did. Otherwise, buying a service manual is a lot more expensive than $24. I have seen them for $50 on ebay, so I doubt the dealership price would be that low.

I couldn't find any either, so you will probably have to buy either a Helms manual or the factory service manual. They have them for 90-97 Accords, but the 6th gen is MIA. :dunno:

If remember there's a ESM (electronic Service Manual) online for the accords 98-00.... The manual from Honda will run you about $200.00..... yes, that's how much I paid for it... (I found the link about 3 weeks later to the pdf...)

***after checking backup Discs and running a search for the ESM***

Couldn't find it... the FTP where I got it from is gone... however, I've got the ESM for the 98-00 Accord. If you want, PM me your address and I'll copy the CD for you... I'm a little low on bandwith these days....
