i just did a coolant flush on my friends integra on friday. jack up the car and under the radiator theres a little plug just pull that out and let it drain, leave your radiator cap off so it will drain faster. Theres also a Bolt on the block by the header that will drain more coolant from your engine. Pretty simple took us 15 mins to do it. Good Luck

The bleeder is for getting rid of air bubbles when you fill it back up. For different years/models it's at either the thermostat housing or on the head near the upper radiator hose. Or sometimes there just isn't one. Kinda hard to say when you don't tell us what kind of car you have.

i did my first radiator drain/flush today
it was kind of hell because i got the instructions off here, which HELPED A LOT
hell was
1. locating the damn drain bolt
2. being scared the car would slam down on my face
3. burning myself 3 times, first from the radiator, second time from the flush, third from the flush again...DUDE I LIVE IN FLORIDA IT'S ALWAYS EFFIN' HOT

after all that i think i did it right, but one question lingers

do i mix the coolant with water?
i bought Peak Coolant/Anti-Freeze

i poured about 3/4 of the gallon in there, should i mix water?

unless you get the stuff thats already pre-mixed, you need a 50-50 mixture. if its pre-mixed, it will say, 50-50 on it.

If you donīt find a bleeder, just fill the radiator up (after draining the old coolant of course) and leave the radiator cap off and let the engine run until you hear at least two times the radiator fan coming on (this can take some time, especially if the engine is cold). Refill the radiator if needed and fill the expansion tank. Your bleeding is concluded. Donīt forget to recheck the coolant level on the next day.

I should flush mine... I keep getting oil mixed in it =( poor head gasket needs to be replaced...

I flush by:
#1 empty radiator
#2 fill w/ water and let it run for a few mins
#3 drain water
#4 fill w/ 50-50 let it run for a few mins w/ cap off
#5 close cap, rinse off reservoir tank and fill that up w/ 50-50

i never messed around with the bleeder valve... i dont even know where that is
