Default Shock and fork problem.

Ok, I got the new springs and shocks together. But I'm havin one of those times where you just wanna blow the car up. I've been trying for about 3 hours to get the fork on the shock and get it to line up with the LCA. When I do get the fork on the shock it sticks out to the side, so like one side has an inch of space and the other is rubbing up against the LCA so i cant move it around. I'm going crazy. Am I supposed to put the fork on the shock first then bolt it up on the tower or bolt it up on the tower then attach the fork or what..this is driving me crazy.

You are supposed to put the fork on the shock and then load up the control arm so you can get that 17mm bolt through the hole.

The lower control arm should already be between the fork when you do this, so you just need to slide it up the shock and position it for the bolt to go through.

I got it....I really don't want to say why I couldn't but I will anyway. I grabbed the wrong fork and was so frustrated I didn't even know. I grabbed right right fork and it went right in. Moral of the story, don't get frustraded with someting you've never done before.

Good to hear. Sometimes a step back and cool off session is a good thing.
