Hey guys,

My driver's side door lock/hinge/mechanism randomly stopped functioning today!! At first the hinge lock thing remained locked and I couldn't even shut the door, then I was able to push it open so the door would close, but the lock/door handle won't function. It seems like the door handle doesnt catch the lock from the outside, I can open it from inside though. Any ideas?? Please help, so I don't get ripped off by a mechanic!!

i had this problem on my 01 teg. i took it apart and meesed with it and it works now... but its not like it used to be
