Here is my short quick writeup since I did it myself. It was fairly easy and there was plenty of room for mistake.

1. Remove spark plug wire cover and remove spark plug wires.
2. Remove all bolts holding the valve cover on.
3. Remove valve cover and set aside somewhere out of the way.
4. Start to loosen the exhaust cam cover from the inside and work your way out in a crisscross pattern. Then remove all the bolts.
5. The cam holder that holds the end of the camshaft and the cam cap should be ready to pry off. Use a flat head screwdriver to pry it off but try to pry it off straight.
6. Replace the cam seal.
7. Apply hondabond to the area on the head surrounding the new cam seal but do not get it on the rubber o-rings.
8. Put the cam holder back on straight and then tighten the cam cover down. Torque is critical as the bolts will break if over torqued. Torque for the large bolts is 20 ft/lbs and the torque for the smaller bolts is 7.2 ft/lbs.
9. If you need to replace the valve cover gasket due to deterioration, now is the time to do it.
10. Apply hondabond to the sharp areas where the valve cover gasket seats and then put the valve cover back on.
11. Tighten the bolts up, replace the wires and wire cover, and start the car.
12. Check for any leaks from the valve cover.

I might have forgotten a step but if you have any questions along the way, feel free to PM me.

You can pick up the hondabond at Autozone. It is a grey high temperature gasket sealer. Picked up a large tube for about $3.00. The gasket I would go to the dealership for and since this is probably the first time you have pulled the valve cover off, I recommend replacing it.
