you dont pour the whole bottle and for that hose, this is how you get it into the engine...

I couldn't find seafoam so I used similar engine cleaner made by i believe CRC or Gunk and got the same result. However, when you do it, make sure to find a large open space. When i did it to my teg, crap load of smoke came out of my exhaust pipe and people were like :wtf:.

Edit: There is an article on team-integra.net

1/3 crankcase
1/3 fuel tank
1/3 TB (The hose is disconnected and used to have the engine "drink" the seafoam)

we use 2 cans per car straight in to the intake. We have a r-12 can pucture tool with a hose and a reducer and run 2 cans through it and rev it to about 5 grand about 5 times rapidly then let it idle for 30 secs.Works very well.I never put in the oil though.iI heard horor storys about running engine cleaner in the engine.

i bought mine at Advance Auto.. they should have it in Autozone...

step 2 shows where to put it in the intake.. just leave the car running w/ engine warm... slowly pour in 1/3 bottle, don't let the car stall... turn off car for 15 min.. crank car.. go for "spirited" drive to blow out all the sludge you just dissolved.. **Caution.. may cause lots of smoke...

New post b/c i just read all the other posts.. *my email update ain't working* It contains Naphtha, Pale Oil, and 2-propyl. mostly the oil.. Naphtha and 2-propyl are doing all the cleaning.. Nothing is wrong w/ my car.. I disconnected the hose on my brake booster b/c thats the line it goes through for the intake.... yes i could have slowly poured it through the throttle body but i didnt' feel like making a mess... any more questions?

<edit> oh yeah.. and i use 10w40 b/c its usually pretty hot here... i dont' really need a wider range oil... i could use a straight weight in the summer... it never gets below 70.. and no.. you can't "feel" the difference in 'power' from changing the weight of your oil...
