Default Help: Lower Control arm

So i've been trying with a pickle fork to get the lower arm off my 93 del sol's ball joint... and it's not working.. am i forgetting a step? ...yes castle nut is removed...

I just answered this in your other post in the other section. Oh, and also, you have to hold your mouth the right way when your hitting it.

Big Fing Hammer and pound right next to the joint on the LCA is the most common method.

I prefer to turn the wheel to one side, so that you're looking at the back of the lca, and putting a long square pry bar between the knuckle and lca and give it a quick stomp. Pops nearly every time on the first try.... without the funny face either
