Default headlight swap

i want to swap my headlights out to make them as bright as possible on me 98 civic ex what all should i need to do this. i belive the headlights are 9003's but i dont know what to switch it to to get them brighter.

yeah, not cheap, not quite a kilo, more like 600.....well, you could just get some $35 slyvania brite whites, at your local auto store, or even you can go back to -circa- 1999 and get hyper whites( blue)

yeah i already got the sylvannia silverstars and they are definatley brighter than stock but i want that bounce blue to white to blue look when im behind someone. i would like to reproduce the s2000 headlight effect without paying hella money

What's the s2000 headlight effect? I drive my mom's all the time, but then again I guess I can't really tell the effect of them from inside.

yeah, then you're just gonna have to save up get some h.i.d.'s then......and they actually change about 5 different colors, when you first turn them on, there just white, then they go to a greenish, pinkish, color, once they've been on for a few minutes, they go to the purple/whiteish.....

ok i get it there is no way around it by being cheap . oh well hope radioshack starts paying more

headlights get dimmer with time, maybe just trying new regular ones would improve it?
