Default DIY: Custom Bucket Stock Seats?

Hey whats up all,

Well ive been browsing again and I noticed some people have made bucket seats from their stock seats. I have a 2000 accord and my mother owns a 2004 v6 accord. Man oh man do the seats on the 2004 accord have a good bucket on them. No sliding around and a comfortable ride all together. Adding other seats from race companys looks kinda stupid in cars that arent race moded (mines pretty stock, pretty is key word).

So my question is, anyone know of a DIY bucket seat mod, or a way to add a better lift on the sides to a seat?

Well, I haven't personally done it but I heard the way to do is to lessen the padding material in the center thus making the sides higher than the center part. If you take enough material, you might be able to get extra space on the sides to put more padding to make them higher. I also heard it was fairly common back in 80's in Japan when aftermarket seats were very expensive and not universally available.
