check your ground, check all the power connections, speaker connections, and turn down the gain if needed. amp may possibly be blown, but i would think its just a loose connection.

Default bridged????

check and see if its bridged...it may seem funny but if it keeps cutting out then that might be it. it happened to my guys shit. he had a kenwood 800 watt amp that was bridged...after that he unbridged it and it started working fine. good luck

Default By Using Your Brain!!!!

see its different for all amps..your gonna have to check out your manual for that cause i dont want to mislead you and then you end up burning your shit out. but on most amps it says it where you connect the speakers. i know for the punch amp i had....i had to connect both the negatives of the speakers to the right side negative output and the possitive of both speakers to the left side possitive. but thats a rockford punch..check your amp out first.....another thing that might be messing up is if you used a cheap wiring kit. what kind do you have now? might be the audio input wires... check it all out
good luck
peace

thnx 4 the help. some say i might have blown the amp too, i would think not sence the amp was made 4 thos spreaker but just in case how dose that happen, what causes that to happen, and what happens to the amp it self. i sak cuz if i no what its is i can provent it from happening, and if it is blown if i know how and were i might just be able to fix the curcit.

Default hmmmmmm...

well if the amp was blown then it would start smelling like something burning...its kind of tricky to tell if its blown cause sometimes it might still sound. im not a tech in this so i might not be right but i learned from my past expierences....it might even be the speakers themselves. just because its a new system or the amp and the speakers go together doesnt mean it wont burn out on you....tell me this...did you check for a funky smell comming out the amp?? did you check the ground wire, power wire, remote wire, aux wire, speaker outputs? something might be pinched. and one more question...do your lights dim when you got it turned all the way up? and your battery dies out?

well if i ran my amp just off the car battery then yet it would kill the it but when the car was on at peak volume the lights didnt dim at all, im gana try to hook a friends amp up and see if it dose the same thing cuz i no its no the speakers i tested them im thinking/hoping its the coxal (red/white cables) might be pinched, i think this cuz i no on home theater if the red and the white make contact u get a kind of buzzing sound and that purr may be that same thing.
