i bought this accord off my dad and it has an alarm system already in it,the ****ed up part about this is that it doesnt have a remote (it got lost) he did have some remotes he gave me but none of them worked. how should i do this? i cant buy a universal remote because in order to program in i need to have the original? would it be worth it if i fixed it? or would i be better off putting a pager alarm on it? page alarms are cheap on ebay..for under 200.
any ideas?questions?comments? someone help me out pleeeassssssseeeeee!!!!

when i got my accord one of the first things i did was yank out that crap factory alarm.
Since you dont have a remote for the current one. Your better off buying a new alarm/ pager...I think you dont need the original remote to reprogramm another one......not sure about that.

 

well according to the online manuals i was reading off of google. it says to place the universal remote next to the original remote and press buttons untill it picks up the signal. i was thinking about going to the shop but they just gonna take all my money$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
