Default its a accident its not just a little grape friut size dent.

the fender is smashed in and needs to be popped out and then primored and painted again.

If it's huge and all crinckled up, drill little holes in the deepest part. Use a dent puller. Knock down the high spots with a hammer that are higher than the original surface. Try to sand off the paint so the bondo will stick better. Go buy you a can of the old Bondo. Bondo away. Sand, bondo, sand, etc. until results look good. They make some orange stuff to fill in the little holes and blemishes in the bondo. Takes a lot of practice to make it look good. Prime, and paint. Good luck. I think the procedure is in any Haynes auto repair manual.

Fenders come off really easily. There are like 8 bolts (maybe more maybe less) that need to come out, three of them are a little trickier than than the others since the door is kind of in the way, and then you just pull it off being careful not to scratch the door.
Once you have it off you'll see that it's easier to straighten out. Honestly though if the fender is too bent it'll never be the same. I think I would look for a used one to primer and paint if it were me.

Default Get A New One

it would be more better for you to just go to the nearest "you pull it" and just buy a fender. you going to end up taking the whole fender out anyway. the junkyard i go to in chicago has 2 yards..one for domestic and another for foreign.on mondays the domestic yard is half off. and on tuesday the other is. i used to have a cutlass supreme and some jack ass rammed the side fender and hood. i went to the junk yard and paid about 60 bucks for a hood, fender, some speakers, window wiper motor, and the new horns. you just gotta search and get the best deals. the only bad part about going to get it yourself is that you have to do it all yourself but im sure that wouldnt be a problem for you!

good luck
