Default Use windex and a razor

:bandito: use windex and a razor, but be very careful.dont just use the razor by itself get the tool that holds it so u can handle where your using it.its like a screw driver with a vise on the top.i used to detail cars thats how they do it at dealerships.and if you just bought the car from a dealership you can go to them and ask them nicely to get rid of it for u.if u dont have the tool im talking about

on the back window, becareful of the defroster lines. do not use a razor over them cuz is will damage them. best way i found is the peal up a corner with a razor, then pull with even pressure on the tint, pealing it off with both of your hands without the razor. if you pull too hard, the tint will rip, so just go lightly. when the tint comes off, it leaves glue on the window. this is true with the back window also. just get some tint glue remover from a auto parts store to take the glue off(stuff made by GILA tint works ok). also, there is something called ZEP orange cleaner that used to and still may be sold at home depot. that works better than the tint glue remover.

I've always used those dish cleaning things and ammonia to remove the goey stuff frome the deffroster lines. I don't know exactly what it's called. It's like a ball of plastic threads. It won't damage the defroster lines and it does a great job of getting the stuff off along with ammonia. Of course, use a razor and ammonia for removing the goo from the side windows. Tinting windows takes time and patience. If you're actually having problems taking the tint itself off, just spray it with ammonia as it's coming off. Be carefull and don't just rip it off fast, as it may take the defroster lines with it. Oh and yes, i'm a decent or i guess you could say good window tinter. Pretty much done it my whole life on and off. Just remember, ammonia removes it and dishwashing soap like joy puts it on. That's why they say to never use ammonia or windex to clean tinted windows. It may get between the glass and tint and make it peel off.
