Default 89 Lude 2.0Si Auto to Stick

I have an 89 Lude and the only thing i don't like about it is the interior color and the tranny type (auto,OH, i havent got an owners manual for it, can someone tell me what the S4 button on the shifter is for???)

I ALSO have a 'parts car' with the desireable Black Interior!! My questions are, has anyone done a Auto to Stick swap on one that i can read up on? and is there anything I should know about swapping the intierior? (like in the auto car, the gear indicator is in the dash, should i just use the other gage panel?)

Thanks for the knowledge!

Mike

Whassup?
I would never to that kind of swap, but that's just me. I just don't have the patience for it... S4?? I don't know.

But the interior should be a different story. I would suggest seeing what it looks like if you trade peices like: the door jam panels, vents, the console, the gauge cluster cover, and keep in mind I'm not that familiar with your interior. But just some thoughts.

We used to have an 88 Prelude Si. The s4 button was suppossedly for racing or passing etc. It made the car stay in one particular gear a little longer which equaled more redline and more power. At least that's what i was told years ago.
