Default Clutch repair question

Alright........... here's the question. I have a 96 Integra LS Special Edition and the clutch is completely out of whack. I have to push it almost all the way to the floor to get any kind of response. There used to be a at least a couple of inches between the initial friction point with the engine and its final up position, but now there is none. With the clutch pressed completely down, the engine still engages the transmition a bit and the stick is difficult to remove from gear. Basically my friction point has moved to the floor. When the car is in gear there is no engine / clutch slippage or loss of power. I'm very confused. Is it something as simple as adjusting some kind of tension cable for the clutch or is my clutch just gone? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Best,
Dave

It's gone. I had the same problem. A new clutch fixed it. I would check the Master cylinder first. Then bleed the clutch, then get a new clutch if none of that helps.
