Default A little cash to spend... im sure this wont be hard

I just got a check for $400 from the insurance company, apparently when a lady backed into me at carls jr the front bumper was "damaged beyond repair." well they qouted it at 500 to fix the damage, insurance worked their way down to 400 and my dads body shop guy (he works at a car dealership) said he could either fix the old one for 200 or get me a new one, paint it align it, fix the minor hood problems (damaged before the lady hit me) and make it look brand new for 350... Well I kinda would like a different front end look and allow more cold air to my CAI and an aftermarket bumper (IE body kit) would allow me to do that... I could probably squeek by going that route... what do you guys think? the bumper has to get fixed somehow... its being held up on one side with white tape

I would buy a mild( nothing extravagant ) body kit, and a nice carbon fiber hood....but to buy all that and have the bumper painted would cost a little more then 400....but it would be worth it in the end.....
