I was going to paint mine when spring came, was trying to think of ways to mask off the letters on the cover... didn't consider using vaseline. Might even go with wrinkle paint since it looks so purdy.

instead of using vasaline, you could use a sanding block or something similar instead. just paint over the letters and when its all dry, just lightly sand over the letters keeping the block very level until all the paint on the letters is gone. it will give a very neat, clean result. i used 600 grit sand paper on mine and it looks perfect.

I basically did the same but used powdercoating I think its alot better than painting. And lumberport could you get any more in hicksville.

Powdercoating is nice, I just like paint better. And I can do the paint myself, and if I don't like it, I can remove it and try something else.

Also, if you are going to make attacks about me or my hometown, please do it with correct grammar and punctuation, in order to not make the state look more illiterate and uneducated than they already are to the people on this board.
