WOW, DO NOT JUST PRY ON IT! ITS NOT ONLY CLIPS.

There are 2 screws holding in that whole dash panel. Also there are two different setups in these cars.

- 01+ Civics with a moving cover for the cup holders:
1. Remove the panel around the shifter - for both manual and automatic
2. Remove the scews on the sides of opening that hold the side panels that run up to the dash.
3. Remove the side panels with the cigarette lighter jack.
4. Look up and remove the two philips head/8mm screws that hold the radio assembly in place. One scew is on the left, just follow that bar to the right and the other screw is a little off the side from the opening.
5. Once those screws are removed, you can GENTLY pry and the edges of the radio/climate control assembly. BE CAREFUL ON THESE MODEL YEAR CARS, THEY ARE MORE PRONE TO DAMAGE THAN THE PREVIOUS GENERATION CIVICS. DO NOT USE ANYTHING SHARP TO PRY. It helps to push from behind when prying because it takes less prying force to remove the panel. Be careful a lot of sharp edges in the dash.

- 01+ Civics without a moving cover for the cup holders:
1. Remove the panel with the cigarette light jack by pulling or prying on the edges. I usually start on the right where the jack is and stick my thumb in while pull.
2. Once this panel is removed look up and remove the two philips head/8mm screws that hold the radio assembly in place. One scew is on the left, just follow that bar to the right and the other screw is a little off the side from the opening.

Just take your time, i am an installer for a large retail company and damage is something that is not an option. I have done tons of these cars and if you have any other questions just post them up.
