Default Right side radiator fan starts up!

My 95 Accords radiator fan on the right side will come on after driving the car and parking it and shuting it off. A minute or so after the car is off the fan comes on for a couple minutes and then goes off. I've made sure the key was out, the fan switch was off. We have only own it since March. Any ideas would be appreciated! Thanks!

I once owned a 1990 Accord and it did the same thing. I think that is the way it is supposed to work in order to cool off the engine a bit after driving.

That's perfectly normal, there should be a sticker on the radiator support with a warning as such.

It turns on at a certain engine temperature, regardless if the car is on or off. With-out coolant flowing after turning a car off, the temperature is still high, and usually increases a few degrees before dropping. The fan cuts-on and cools it off...

Default Fan Seldom Runs

Is it unusual that the fan seldom runs. I can go 30 miles, temp guage is normal, but the fan does not run or seem to kick in. Is that normal?

My civic overheats if I idle it without running the heater or A/C.
