Default Quick question about painting with spray gun

I have done alot of painting of side skirts, lips, accents, etc. that has come out very nice by
wet sanding 400 grit
then primer / adhesive promoter (spray can)
Base coat (spray can)
Clear coat (spray can)

But, what i really want to do now is get a grav feed spray gun and get into painting a little bit more seriously. Unfortunately I am new to this and dont really know about it in extensive detail. What i was hoping was that someone on this forum that might know alot about it give me some tips or some info to get me started. Or even if they have good write ups on other links or what not. I am just starting out so any info would be useful thanks so much

actually you should prolly call up your local library and ask if they have any books on automotive painting or painting with air guns. i have house of color's : kustom painting secrets book on my office desk right now. its written by Jon Kosmoski

yah its got good info.. but its pretty thin.like 100 pages. you should prolly just go there, sit down and read it all while your there. take some notes if you have to. but call your local library, see if they have any cuz libraries are FREE
