how was driving after you installed them without the alignment? were you able to drive far and at high speeds too (60 mph)? i was going to do mine but there's no shop near my house that will align lowered cars, i'd have to probably drive like 20 miles (highway) to the nearest shop that aligns lowered cars....i know that alignments is going to be needed once i mess with the camber, however i was just wondering is it drivable for about 20-25 miles and at speeds up to 60mph to the nearest shop for an alignment...thanks

it drove fine, you would be able to go 20 miles without a problem.

I just put a level on the outside of the tire to get it close, and then went and had the alignment done.

How were you able to adjust the ball joints? I could not get that thing to move at all. also I have 00' civic SI, and on my year model the 17mm nuts that are inside the fender well holding the upper control arm are welded on. all I had to do was remove the 14mm bolts holding the upper control arm from inside the engine bay. The driver side was a pain though because of the hydraulic clutch resevoir, and the cruise control diafram. Passenger side easiest, just remove tha battery to get access to the bolt and the cold air tubing did not block anything.
