Default headers for cx?

ok, headers woo hoo... but i drive a cx hatch with the oh so powerful d15b8..... which has the cat in the stock exhaust manifold... now i was told that i could get normal headers for a dx, and slap em on and completly get rid of the cat, how ever, in shoping they dont say for "cx", is that just because they dont want you to use it to get rid of your cat? am i makin sense? :dunno:

Better headers will fit, but you have to move the cat underneath the car, extend the O2 sensor wires, or even rewire for a 4-wire O2.

Companies don't want to label their stuff with models it won't bolt into, because then if people have problems it's their own fault.

plug the o2 sensor in the hole for the new header, and run it without a cat. will be just fine unless you have emissions. i have my 91 si like that, having no cat just frees up power.
