hey, i recently crashed my car, and before it wouldnt run, but after a week or so it would start up again. then the engine would die off after 5 seconds of the start up, it pretty much stalls, its a manual transmission 1984 200sx, for now i just set the idle speed higher so it wouldnt stall. anyone kno whats up? thansjk

 

check the plugs.. make sure its getting fuel...check the battery..

 

maybe your IACV, air/fuel, what he said ^^ maybe it's just old and ready to go?

 

that sh.it happened to me too on my crx, but 60% of the time it would just sit at like 10 rpms lol, other times itwould die ,a dn i had to always be gassing it. then one day not long after, the engine just died. almost zero compression across =\ check your throttle cable though..just a thought
