Default I got restless, so I did this........

I kept putting off ordering a sticker, so I just went to the local craft store and picked up a sheet of vinyl letters. < $4 for a full sheet. I can make like, 5 more if I wanted to.

Another pic

Here is another question for all 96-98 Civic Owners.

I read the DIY how to make the Type R grill, but the painted part of the grill doesn't come apart from the base. It's all one piece on mine.

That is my ghetto rig up, but the mesh keeps falling out. As you can see, I just cut out a little and left all the tabs. How did you all secure your mesh???

I'm using a mugen grill for now, but I really don't like it.

Thanks for you help and comments welcome!

Mine is a 98 LX but it's a sedan and it was a once peice...
Does the trim have anything to do with it? Cause his looks like a DX and yours looks like an EX.. but then again both of yours dont look like it came with the silver trim like mine did..

It's good not to be like everyone else. :fawk: We all tell that to noobs. Anyway, I like the way it came out. I didn't want the larger font.

As for the grill, I looked really close and it looks like one molded piece. There weren't any seams of any kind. I guess I can always look again. I'm not in any rush. If anyone else has any input, let me know.

You know, buying stickers supports this website that we all use for free... It's really trivial to try and support HAN, the administrators work for free, and someone pays for all the bandwidth and hosting...

Just to give a different perspective.
