Default Scrathes

I have some small scracthes on my 99ls. Paint is Adriatic Blue Pearl (B-74P). Is it possible to get them out myself? I heard of buffing it out, liquid solution that wipes it away, and touch up paint.

What is the best DIY way to make them go away or if anything make them less noticeble.

I tried to take it to a acura body shop and the estimate they were giving me was a ripoff. 1100 for some small scracthes. Not only that they were charging me in areas of the car where there were no scracthes.

Any suggestions? Thanks!

buffing with a very fine buffing compound by hand works well for me. Just takes some elbow grease...

The reason they were charging you to paint area's without scratch's is because when they paint the scratched area's they have to fade the paint into the undamaged area's so you can`t tell its been painted. Try to hand buff it with buffing compound if that doesn't work take it somewhere and have it buffed.
