Scratch marks....

Default Scratch marks....

Some a-hole threw mud on my car, and in his attemts to get it off he left nice scratch marks in my car. Whats the beast way to remove these. They arnt deep enough to go throught the clear but i need to get rid of them.

Scratch Remover products are available at most auto parts stores.

Try either Mothers or Nu Finish

This could take machine polishing to take care of. If you never have done this sort of thing (using a DA like a Porter Cable 7424 or an Ultimate Detail Machine) you should look for a local pro detailer and ask him to quote you a full 2 stage polishing. Believe me, you won't regret it!

you might even be able to remove them with a wash and wax. make sure the wax is spread around the scratches, and use a microtowel to remove the wax.
