my friend used a turbo from 90-96 fairlady z on his 87 z because a lil smaller and spool faster. He was goin to put that same turbo on his civic after he wrecked the 87 z but the civic got stolen. he said it would work with custom manifold.

There are a lot of manifolds out for the T3 and T4 style flanges. I'm not big into the aftermarket turbos though. :dunno:

iirc, the single turbo 300zx is a t28. i'll verify this and come back.

i'm pretty sure youre talkin about a z31 [mid/late 80s 300zx]
If not, i'll look up the z32 turbo setup later..

sorry, the 85-87 have t3, and the 88-89 have t25.h:

those are pretty common turbos, so i think that it would be that hard to find a manifold/dp/piping. i'll stop talking now cause i dont know much about turboing hondas

yah both the t3 and t25 will work, u can use a crx hf, civic std, or civic hx manifold 4-1 but u will need to make a custom mounting bracket (1 inch steel block with a hole cut in the middle) and have a custom downpipe made off the turbo, with both turbos u have to rotate the housing, to make it fit against the radiator and the t25 takes longer to spool but both are good turbos, i have a t3 myself, they are very common and come off all types of vehicles, i got mine from a friend of mine who is making a turbo volvo and upgraded his to a t3/t4 hybrid, betcha guys have never seen a 600 hp volvo lol, its a real site to see
