Default ITR valve springs and retainers??

I have the chance to get a set of ITR valve springs and reatiners for a good price, the question is are they a considerable upgrade if no other head work is done? I dont think they will increase the rpm's very much just wanted to get some other points of view. thanks

Springs and retainers are really only nessicary if you have upgraded high lift cams. If you do that, you might as well buy aftermarket springs and retainers, they will be much better then the ITR parts anyway.

Oh, and if you are running an LS/VTEC with an old B16A head and original springs, you probably should change the valve springs now.
