I know the dx has a longer final gear and it bearings are smaller but I actually enjoy the longer 3rd & 4th and the better gas mileage isn't bad either. I had to swap it because my si tranny was going and I need the si to drive about 100 miles a few times a week. I will admit I hate the dx tranny in the dx but with the si's extra hp it makes the dx tranny better. I would recommend it to any one who doesn't have the $$$ to get another si tranny.

 

DX is a great tranny for a daily driver / highway car.
