Default Reputable engine seller?

I'm thinking about buying an engine from Nippon Motors in California. I'm on the East Coast and don't know a lot about them. Are they a good company? Anyone had any problems with them?

Most used engine sellers are the same. They all have a short warranty, and it's always a gamble. Nippon sells just as many engines as all the rest, and I'm sure about the same percentage of their engines are faulty. There's no way to know until you take it apart. If you want an engine that's guaranteed not to fail, build it yourself.

i bought my b16a from nippon. they have a warranty program so they are definately good sellers. my engine was fine other than just have been sitting in the engine yard for so long. i had to replace all my seals and gaskets. something you should do anyway before dropping a new motor.
