I just had a new starter & ignition switch installed. Now car still won't start when turn key. What else could it be & what should I have checked out.

Meaning?
(the starter turns the engine over and the engine never fires up? too little info.)

What happens exactly when you turn the ignition to "start"?
-check engine light on? any codes?

my bad chris.
Yeah when I push clutch pedal in and turn key it just clicks. Won't turn over. I know my battery still good. Just strange.

Check the starter solenoid and the wiring to the starter. (just for yucks, check the battery terminals, ground to car body, ground to transmission)
Check the starter interlock switch on the clutch pedal.
If you have an alarm installed, check the alarm relay that kills the starter. (probably, on the same line as the starter interlock switch on the clutch pedal)

Does push starting the car work?

Yeah chriss, it will start by push start. I don't have an alarm. Could you post a pic up of the clutch switch you mentioned. I did check my grounds. They seem fine. I might have to look at the starter connections

look at the two attached files
-check the clutch switch (wiring connected, clearance adjusted correctly)
-check the main fuses in starterCircuit
-look at your car's repair manual for how to check the starter (or take it the the auto parts supplier and have them test it.)

Try replacing the starter relay. That is the same symptom I've been having. It's been intermittent, only happening a couple times a month or so. I just replaced the relay so I'll post up if the problem totally goes away.
