I've got a 90 Crx Si and I'm wanting to put some rear component speakers in. I've heard of alot of people putting 6x9's in the "rear location". I've also read that the rear brackets u can buy for crx's only fit 5 1/4 speakers. Is there a way to mount 6x9's in these locations? or are they just mounting them in the back shelf?

90 CRX had a bracket in the back for 6.5" speakers. the space is prolly not big enough for 6 X 9s and still have the speaker grille be put back on correctly.

I've heard of people putting 8" subs in the rears location, but never 6x9's. They probably just mounted them in the rear hatch deck.

we tryed in my cousin crx to put 6x9's....looked like crap!

i got 6.5'' in the rear but i had to drill new holes

er, I'm in the middle of filing the black plastic mount for some 6x9s I have, you sayin its not worth it?
