Default EF Suspension Over-Haul Question....

Check this out.....

I have EF9 rear disc brakes on my 90 civic hatchback, with my stock DX lower control arms. Everything seems to be squeeking and falling apart, ever since a shop worked on my ride.

Rather than send it back to the shop which shall remain nameless, I would like some peoples real life experiences with overhauling the suspension in these cars.

I would like to know what all would be involved and what parts I should replace. On top of that, seeing as it was a DX, i'm pretty sure that there was no option for rear stabalizer, but I want to put it on. The lower control arm doesn't look like it has the bushing and mount for the stabalizer.... Is there a different LCA on the Si hatch and crx? What stabalizers should I go with? Anyone with a clue of what i'm talking about should definately give me a hand!

Lotsa qustions.... Hope someone can help me out...

Thanks guys!

So looking into it a bit further. Aparently the '90 DX Hatchback doesn't have the capabilities for a stabalizer bar on the LCA.

So to add to the list of questions..... Are the 90-91 CRX/HB Si's have the same rear suspension setup? Are the LCA's the same?

.....riiiiiiiiiiiiight Someone?

the 90-91 Si hatchs come standard with a rear sway bar. the dx's do not.

the 90-91 crx Si come with the same setup but with rear disc brakes.

to run the rear sway bars....get the lower control arm from a crx Si.
