bigger alternator
You can get yours either from a Nippon Denso dealer or an alternator shop. We have one here that does specials for the local tuner shop. They do full rebuilds and ship too. Check your yellow pages.
sorry...yeah, doin a system real quick...gettin some subs that are 200(both) new for 20(both)...theyre blown but the company will swap them out...i'll try your suggestions...and this wont be stayin in too long...gonna sell it all to a friend...thanks for the hlep:thumbup:
would the alternator from an SI put out more amps?...cause of the sunroof or something?...sorry to bring up this thread from the dead, but it's better than starting a new one
I personally would do a cap before I would do a bigger alternator. I have a system in my CRX with a factory alternator and a 1 farad cap from Memphis. I haven't had a problem yet.
OT but, where do you live in Atlanta? Do you live in the city of Atlanta or outskirts (Marietta, Woodstock, etc.) Just curious seeing as I live in Georgia too and I like meeting people that are in to fourth gens like me.
