how u take it off?

i know its simple and i haven't even tryed but i was just wondering how easy it was?

im finally getting it powder coated tommorrow...

should i put like saran wrap over the value cover gasket and values and shit, while i don't have a value cover on?

btw im picking up a new value cover gasket also....

its easy u just undo those top 4 bolts undo the grounding wire pull out ur spark plug wires and it pops right off, if it doesnt just bang it side ways with the palm of ur hand it pop it loose, dont really have to cover it up just make sure nothing falls in there while it is open, good luck

 

Just remove the nuts on top of the valve cover... I think there are only 4, pull off the vacuum lines, and lift it off... super simple. Saran wrap is a good idea, you need to cover the valves and all that good stuff to make sure nothing gets in there...
