Countersue for a frivolous lawsuit and time and money wasted on your behalf. Maybe add a few $ as a pain and suffering charge, too.

Have fun!

Default Been there...

Buddy, I know your pain...

I was in Japan and this big F'ing Toyota Surf 4x4 slams on his brakes because he almost ran a stop sign. I ended up rear ending his stainless steel step only bending it as it torn the hood off my Prelude and crumpeling it up Ruffles brand potato chip. I must note the ONLY damage his SUV sustained was a bent step. So this guy jumps out of his SUV holding his neck like the fender bender hurt his weak pathetic ass. I was thinking about giving him something to hurt about but the words "international incident" came to mind and I cooled down.

My speed was estimated at 30 kmph. Two weeks later, I'm hauled down to the police station for an investigation because in Japan if someone is injured in an accident a criminal investigation must be performed. So I'm being grilled by this sickly looking cop that must weigh 95 lbs and chain smokes. I tell him that there is no way I could have caused the SUV driver harm in his big ass jacked up SUV tank at 30 kmph. Get this- the F'ing cop agreed! But he told me since it is illegal for the police to investigate medical professionals in Japan (i.e. the SUV drivers doctor), his injury would stay in the investigation as legit and my insurance would be required to pay for the medical bills. I'd be willing to bet cash that the SUV driver was getting a kick back from the doctor.

SUV's and big ass trucks should be outlawed unless you have reason to own one like you work on a farm or you own a consturction business or something like that. There is no F'ing reason for a family of 3 to own a Hummer other than flaunting wealth.

WORD... i hate those big ass SUV's - gas guzzling, road hogging, soccer-mom driven abominations... why the hell does a 30-something 5 foot tall woman need an H2?

and B16er... people that sue just to try to get money are pathetic - i wish you the best of luck.

the things people will do for a buck ... its sad how low people will go

Karma will bite them all in the ass. My brother like barely backed up into this car. And these people claim they were injured. They soon started seeing a doctor. However Gieco denied their claims and they ended up having to pay that doctor out of their pockets, what jackasses!

it was really boring, and tedious they asked me the same questions over and over, tried to use double negatives alot, and my attorney had to interject, what a pita, i dont really care if they win or not at this point i just dont want to waste my time taking care of it, i mean my insurance will cover it as long as its less than 75k which it will be, but it sure is a waste of my time. they are trying to sue me for lost wages because they didnt make as much that year as they did the last. I feel like if u get in an accident and someone says its ur fault u can just sit on ur ass for a year bitch about being hurt even if ur not and then try to sue because ur a lazy b!tch and wasnt working, sh!t i was the one put in the hospital with a totalled car. grrr a little upset now

Yep, suing is the American way. Sue for this and sue for that. It's not the same way in many other civilized countries. Our shark ass lawyers are cheap and souless money grubbing heartless liers. Our legal system is so F'd up it's not funny. I love America but our legal system needs to change.
