Default Explanation of how a I/C engine works, good site.

hey guys just browsing around and found this site

http://auto.howstuffworks.com/engine1.htm

really informative goes thru just the basics, of the different strokes and everything going on in the engine, but if u read on it gets into more complicated explanations of what else goes on, with ur valve train, cooling systems and then gets into turbo chargers, superchargers and more.... for any noobs or people who just want a little explanation of their power plant check that out.

what's an I/C engine...internal cooled?...ic usually is short for intercooler which requires forced induction or a funky cold air intake setup

howstuffworks is a neat site that explains how all these different engines and systems work...you'll realize almost all engines sold on the market are otto cycle engines but there are a couple more types of piston engines in the miller and atkinsen types that differ slightly...even it explains how forced induction and rotary engines work
