Default b16 removal?

ok, say one has a ef sedan with a b16. after the swap which requires a mount kit, is it possible to put the stock motor back in for smog reasons, then put the b16 back in again? maybe a silly question, but i'd rather be safe then sorry. Thanks.

you certainly can but id just try to make the engine run clean, and dont tell anyone you have a different engine in there, otherwise u'll be storing an extra engine somewhere with ecu, and will have to go thru the trouble of installing it when needed
