Default long block assembly

i think im gonna buy a new one b4 i think about starting my turbo build up, or should i spend the money on rods and pistons? how much does it cost to have the cylinders bored and rehoned for new pistons?cuz my block is smoking, and burning quite a bit of oil out the back, its getting really nasty, so gonna have to do something soon
