brake line recommendations
Good morning,
I was checking over my CRX prior to taking it in for a NYS inspection. Everything appears to be in order except for the brake flex lines, they are quite cracked and probably the source of the spongy pedal I've felt the last few times I've had the car out.
I'm going to make some calls this morning to see what Honda flex lines cost, but my guess is that a set of stainless lines are going to be cheaper.
So, who has what experience with stainless lines? How is the quality of the brand you chose? Is the fit the same as the OEM part? Would you recommend them?
Thanks,
Bogatyr

nothin makes the honda flex lines any better than the ones you get at auto zone .... so save your money... stainless will make your car stop faster.... but if you arent driving hard daily i wouldnt necessarily spend the money on that either
Well, I called Manchester Honda and found that the OEM Honda parts cost about $2 more per line than shopping at AutoZone...so that's a no brainer to me. But, the total cost for the Honda OEM lines are about $70 versus $110 for the Goodridge lines. Money's pretty tight this month, so I'll prolly go with the Honda parts.
