ur talking just suspension wise? its not difficult really just kinda timely depending on how much knowledge you have of ur car and ur suspension setup, if u have full sized springs ur gonna need a spring compressor which u can borrow at any autozone. its quite easy replacing them just fun getting the old ones out. you don't need any special tools besides teh spring compressor to compress the springs to remove them to get to the top bushings that are near the top of the strut tower

you can do you own bushings...you'll have to remove the control arms, etc. and have your car at a place that it can sit while its apart

you can use a power drill to cut out most of the old bushings and sometimes its better to just burn them out

the es master kit doesn't include the rear lower control arm bushing...prothane and a couple other companies sell that one

this is true, but slightly underestimated. It's not quite as simple as "its just fun getting the old ones out". If you don't have a hydraulic press, you're gonna have quite a time getting some of the OE bushings out. If there's any place that will rent one, just get a hydraulic press for a weekend. That will make the job painless, and it'll take just a couple days.

lol i've been corrected, take this guys word for it, i've never done all the bushings on mine just the ones involved with changing my camber setup, and for that all i needed was a spring compressor since ur swapping in a whole new assembly.

Yeah, first gen CRXs you can do the bushings without a press. 4G civics and up have some metal sheilded bushings that MUST be pressed out. Burning them out and then beating away with a punch and chisel should be your last resort, because it's a super pain in the rear that way.

I really want to do the rear lower control arm bushings first since one is really worn and the other is getting there. Maybe I should get two from the yard so I can get it done and still drive around plus the weather still sucks here in Illinois......
