ok, whats cheaper, buy a new b16, or rebuild a b18?

New B16 will be much cheaper than rebuild.

Buying anything JDM used is going to be cheaper then a rebuild, however when you rebuild you can use any parts you want.

Why not just buy another B18B? Buy a low mile B18B will be even cheaper than a B16A or rebuilt.

Rebuild it so at least you'll know exactly what condition engine your installing and it will more then likely last a long time even with a bit of abuse.
