Default DOHC ZC questions!!!

Okay i'm seriously thinking about doing a ZC DOHC instead of B16 cuz i want a faster motor in my car with less amount of money invested. I have a 91 hatch si.. and what parts would i look for to buy for a ZC DOHC??? 86-89 Integra? i dunno, please help me!!! any of you with ZC DOHC's how fast your car? and how much hp with what mods? is it fast enough i should ask actually, for you??? thanks guys!! also how fast do you think this set up would be:

91 hatch si w/stock interior, NOT gutted. DOHC ZC swap with I/H/E FPR, ZEX 55 dry or wet shot, Stage 1 clutch or ACT clutch? any guesses would be helpfull, i just want a rough estimate! thanks!

You need a JDM blacktop ZC swap, or at very least the engine. The 86-89 Integra used a D16A1 engine, the US version of the Brown and Blacktop ZC engines, however they both used Browntop type mounts for bolting into 84-87 Civic style mounts. They will not fit into the 88-91 body. Ideally, you would use a ZC ECU, however an 88-89 Integra (will run lean) or a 90-91 Integra (will run rich) ECU will also work. The stock ECU will probably run it also, but it will also run lean.

my boy and i swapped a zc in his 89 crx si. just the engine. used the stock transmission, mounts, ecu. the only thing we had to **** with was the vacuum hoses running to the intake. also the exhaust mani had to be replaced. whats good about doing the swap, is that most parts are interchangable with the 88-91 tegs and 88-91 preludes. probably some other cars too.

The only Prelude part that I know of to work on the ZC is the 2.0's Timing Belt. Other than that don't expect to swap anything else.

yeah, they used the B20A and B21A, not a ZC family engine.
