malfuncion

ok i have a fuel pressure regulator with an aftermarket fuel rail on a b16, in a crx. the gauge on it will not read although i have it hooked up correctly. I took it to a shop and they said i was pushing all 70 pounds my fuel pump could push. it was like the regulator was stuck open. when i try to adjust the regulator it wont do anything to the idle of the car. also i bought a fuel pressure gauge from my local auto parts store and attached it like it described in instructions, this too didnt produce any read out on its gauge. Could there be a problem with my fuel injectors? Is my gauge bum? I have mailed the shop i bought my reg from and sent video of my car and they have no clue why it wont read out. i already shipped it back to them once, should it go back or do i have a bigger problem at hand? Anyone else experienced this?
