Default Final advice before buying hatch

IT's a 1991 Honda Civic Si, no rust, interior is in mint condition. Only things that heed repairs: Theres a hole underneath the car the size of a penny, and it's ben said that the only "accident" was that the car was that it was ramed into a field and theres a bump underneath. The chassis of the car is straight, new gloss black paint, motor is goos 170 000kms (106000miles) (odometer fraud checked). Motor will be changed in july... Owner asks for 2600$(US). It comes with crx si wheels

i'd offer $1,500 b/c of the accident history (going off road sounds like it was driven poorly)...you can mint an interior by just putting in a new one

take a magnet and use it around the fenders to look for rust (people can bondo and paint over and its hard to tell by just looking)

the magnet would draw out the rust? or are you looking for non-magnetic bondo spots?
