Default good trade?

i wanna trade my car 89 crx si w/180k well maintaned with rs racing coilovers and clear corners for a stock 98 civic dx hb pee green 5spd.

would you trade equally or am i getting ripped off or am i ripping him off?i personally think its an equal trade but then again the civic is newer.

also do u think my car for a g2 integra is a good trade or should i just stick to the si?after riding in my friends g2 i feel in love with it. its alot faster then my bros 97 ls integra.even thogh it felt a lil faster then my near stock si. its just something about g2 that makes me wanna get one i think its the fact that thers an extra cam and its already got a b18a.

i dunno what do u think?

an 89 crx for a 98 civic is a steal on your part. no matter how well maintained a crx is, it'll be over ten years old. a 98 is relatively new

i'd also say an 89 crx for a g2 teg is also a steal. just because the teg is a little bit updated, and a larger car

If you traded equal for a 98 Civic, the Civic owner is a f*cking idiot.

If you traded equal for a G2 Integra, you would have a really good deal.

My idea: trade for the Civic, sell it, and buy a G2 Integra and a B18C engine for it. A stock manual transaxle 90-93 Integra is already faster then your CRX and more plush inside:thumbup:

if you want speed, i'd say with your CRX, way the fuk lighter, but if you dont' care and wanna make it all show then yeah its a good deal..

but if you think about it, if he trades for the new civic he could turn around and sell it. With the money he makes he can buy a CRX HF and a swap for it. He'd come out ahead in the end.

RiceBoysDream,
You certainly got the better end of the deal in this case. You don't mention the mileage on the 98, but it's prolly below 100k. I know that book value for CRXs doesn't matter much, but according to the book, what's your CRX worth? Two grand? A 98 Civic is easily worth four grand.
Who is the guy you're trading with? I have a bridge to unload.
