That's an odd year range. 1980-83 is the second generation Civic, and 1984-87 is the third generation.

yeah..ideally i'd like a 2nd Gen...but willing for an 84 or 85...

May i ask why? Any perspective engine swaps? Sounds like an interesting choice. A weber carbed f20 powered 2nd gen civic would be cool.

I'd love to take a 2nd gen and put in a b16a1 or b18b engine, some del sol seats, a rool cage, lowered a bit, good brakes..

problem is i need the chassis...

awww, no carburator? why do you have to hate on the carb'ed 4 cyl? j/k. They're lots of fun, but daily driving is another story. They run perfectly in the morning and by the afternoon, they're already out of tune

Nice.. I am probably getting the 1980 to work on, gonna be back in MTL in a month for good. Maybe see you around there
