Default b18b block with obd 0 pr4 ecu??

ahh well as the title goes..... my b18a1 swap had a bad rod and needs a rebuild but my friend has a b18b bottom end and i was wondering if i could use that bottom end with the b18a1 head... i know that the a1 head is weaker but at least ill be on the road.... i shouldnt have a problem with the obd1 bottom end with my non obd ecu and wire harness or will i????

1) The A1 head is not weaker. It is the same PR4 casting as is used throughout the entire B18A/B and B20B/Z production run.

2) Yes, it will work just fine. The blocks are virtually identical.
