B16a2 funny noise?

everytime my friend starts up his car it makes a loud whistling noise comming from the timming belt area. do anyone in here with a b16a have that problem>?thanx.

That topic was brought up at a ZC forum. The belt is either rubbing on the timing cover (not enough hood tensioner), or too tight. I'm sure there could be other reasons, but those are two that were brought up.
